When I was picking Charlie up the other day, 2 kids in his classroom (all 4-year-olds) were playing by bashing their toys together and verbalizing the toys' fight dialogue, like you do.

Kid 1: "Pow, etc" (punching noises)

Kid 2: "I'm going to come in your house and kill your mom!"

Horrified teachers: "Oh, no, not like that! We don't play that way at school." 

Kid 2: (Holding up toy car to explain) But I'm a cop!

Me: (silently dies laughing)
